Let the Games Begin!


There is no sporting event in the world like the CrossFit Games. Hundreds of thousands of athletes compete every week to see where they rank. The excitement of having a judge and people cheering you on is amazing. It really kicks up the WOD to a whole new level.


Regardless of where you are at in your CrossFit life, we are all going to compete. We want everyone to be a part of this historic event in our community. It doesn’t matter if you have to scale it or how many rounds you get. Do your best and enjoy the experience. When you watch the games later on TV, you’ll have a new found appreciation for those athletes and the road they traversed to get there.


In order to get ready for the games, we have taken all the movements from last years open competition and dedicated this week to perfecting those techniques. I’m sure they will have changed the workouts, but I guarantee you will see a lot of the same functional CrossFit movements. Make sure you don’t miss any days this week as we sharpen our spears and polish up our shields!
